Time is not a straight line. It curls, arcs, and spirals, carrying the past into the present and folding the present into the future. Every moment loops back, echoing events, feelings, and lessons that have already occurred, yet always appearing anew.
I watch the sun rise over a quiet meadow. Its light spreads in gentle curves, illuminating dew that traces small spirals across the grass. Each morning is a repetition, yet it is never the same. The spiral of time allows for both return and change, carrying memory and possibility within its endless motion.
History unfolds in spirals as well. Civilisations rise and fall, ideas resurface, art and culture repeat and evolve. Even our personal lives spiral similarly, childhood experiences echo into adulthood, lessons return in altered form, and relationships circle back in unexpected ways. Time is not linear; it is a layered, spiralling continuum.
The spiral teaches patience. We may feel stuck in one loop, encountering the same challenges repeatedly, yet each revolution allows deeper understanding. Growth emerges not from rushing forward, but from moving with the curve, observing, learning, and adjusting.
Time is also forgiving. Loss, grief, and mistakes are folded into the spiral, returning as wisdom, resilience, and insight. Nothing is truly wasted. The spiral ensures continuity, weaving all moments into a tapestry that extends beyond comprehension.
I close my eyes and imagine my own spiral of time, each choice, memory, and experience coiling forward and inward, shaping my existence in layers. The spiral continues, infinite and unbroken, reminding me that I am never truly lost, only moving within the eternal motion of life.
