Where stories unravel intentions

38. The Spiral of Seasons

Seasons move in spirals, not straight lines. Winter folds into spring, spring curls into summer, summer twists into autumn, and autumn coils back into winter. Each cycle carries the past forward, shaping growth, decay, and renewal in continuous motion.

I walk through a forest, noticing fallen leaves curling in spirals on the ground. New buds emerge from branches above, following the spiral of seasonal growth. Nature repeats its patterns, returning endlessly, teaching that change is a loop rather than a line.

Human life mirrors this spiral. Emotions, experiences, and phases of life return, each loop slightly different, shaped by the lessons of previous cycles. Loss, joy, discovery, and rest all spiral through our consciousness, returning in patterns that shape understanding and growth.

The spiral of seasons teaches patience and acceptance. Nothing is permanent, yet nothing is truly lost. Every ending folds into a beginning, every cold winter leads to renewal, every loss carries the seed of gain. The spiral ensures continuity, balance, and rhythm in life.

I close my eyes and feel the invisible spiral of time around me, carrying past, present, and future in gentle curves. The seasons move endlessly, spiralling forward, folding back, and returning, and so too do we move within their rhythm, endlessly, beautifully, alive.
