Where stories unravel intentions

44. The Spiral of Joy

Joy is a spiral, expanding outward and curling inward, returning to remind us of the beauty and connection in life. It flows in arcs, loops, and gentle curls, carrying energy, warmth, and vitality.

I watch children playing in a sunlit field. Laughter rises and falls, spiralling into the air, curling around trees, rocks, and pathways. Joy is present in each movement, each sound, each playful interaction, a spiral that spreads invisibly yet profoundly.

Nature mirrors this pattern. Flowers bloom in spirals, waves dance along the shore, and stars radiate light in arcs and loops. Even a simple breeze carries joy in its gentle curves, touching leaves, faces, and hearts. Joy is motion, return, and connection intertwined.

The spiral of joy teaches presence. To experience it fully, one must observe, participate, and return to it in moments of reflection. It reminds us that happiness is not linear; it curls, expands, and folds, returning in unexpected forms, deepening with experience.

I close my eyes and feel the spiral of joy within me, rising, curling, and expanding. It moves endlessly, connecting heart, mind, and world, a continuous pattern of life, vitality, and light.
