Over the past six months, I’ve been quietly reshaping how the Spiralmore ecosystem sites fit together into a more coherent structure, and I wanted to share a clearer update on where things have settled. A significant catalyst for this shift has been Facebook closing my previous pages, which, in an unexpected way, pushed me to simplify, refocus, and consolidate the wider system into something more intentional and sustainable.
What began as a collection of separate projects has evolved into something more connected and intentional, not through a single launch, but through a series of small structural refinements that have accumulated over time.
The focus hasn’t been expansion for its own sake, but clarity of role: ensuring each layer has a defined purpose while still contributing to a wider, coherent system.
Each site now holds a more clearly defined position within that structure:
Access Trails UK
Now firmly centred on accessibility-first outdoor information prioritising usability, clarity, and real-world confidence over simple route listings.
The Sustainable Stop
More clearly positioned around lived, practical sustainability and van-based mobility, with a stronger emphasis on depth, reflection, and community.
Science Deconvolution
Now operating as a structured clarity layer, translating complex scientific and technical ideas into an accessible, accurate understanding through consistent formats.
Gwenin
Functions as the conceptual core, not a content platform, but the framework layer where relationships, structure, and system logic are defined.
Spiralmore
Acts as the coordination layer tracking, connecting, and aligning developments so the ecosystem remains visible and coherent as a whole.
Bloggyness
Remains the informal thinking space supporting early ideas, ambiguity, and non-linear reflection before they become structured outputs.
The Gwenin Exchange
Established as the infrastructure layer supporting sustainability, tools, and resources while maintaining clear separation from content and preserving ad-free independence.
None of this has been about growth for its own sake. It’s been about refining how everything fits together, reducing fragmentation, strengthening coherence, and allowing each part to remain distinct while contributing to a shared structure.
It’s still evolving, but the system now feels more stable, more intentional, and significantly more connected than it did six months ago.
With thanks to everyone who has supported, contributed to, or quietly followed the development of this ecosystem, it’s deeply appreciated and continues to make the work possible.
