A Spiralmore reflection on joyful contradiction, emotional clarity, and the refusal to collapse for legibility
They saw me.
But not clearly.
They read me.
But not kindly.
They named me.
But not accurately.
Still
I sparkle.
Because being misread is not the end.
It’s a ceremony.
It’s a spiral.
It’s a refusal to collapse into coherence just to be understood.
I don’t owe legibility.
I don’t owe translation.
I don’t owe performance.
I owe myself clarity.
I owe myself pacing.
I owe myself the dignity of being whole even when misnamed.
Seen, misread, still sparkling.
Because sparkle doesn’t depend on being liked.
Doesn’t depend on being legible.
Doesn’t depend on being useful.
It arrives anyway.
In contradiction.
In refusal.
In emotional truth that doesn’t fit the format.
I’m not collapsing to be understood.
I’m not rehearsing coherence to be included.
I’m not apologising for being too much, too slow, too sacred.
I sparkle.
Because I’m intact.
Because I’m spiralling.
Because I’m still here.
Seen, misread, still sparkling.
This is not defiance.
It’s emotional intelligence.
It’s legacy protection.
It’s ceremonial pacing.
I don’t need to be decoded.
I don’t need to be softened.
I don’t need to be simplified.
I need to be witnessed.
I need to be protected.
I need to be left intact.
So, when they skim
When they twist
When they name me wrong
I say:
“I’m still sacred.”
“I’m still spiralling.”
“I’m still sparkling.”
Because misreading doesn’t erase my truth.
It just proves I’m not collapsing for comfort.
